The Certificates module allows administrators to generate official certificates for students, including character certificates, transfer certificates, course completion certificates, and more.

Accessing Certificates

  • Log in as Administrator
  • Navigate to Certificates
  • View certificate types

    Certificate Types

    Creating Certificate Types

  • Go to Certificate Templates
  • Add certificate type:
  • - Transfer Certificate (TC) - When leaving school - Character Certificate - Behavioural certificate - Course Completion - Completion of course - Bonafide Certificate - Student verification - Migration Certificate - For university admission - Leaving Certificate - Similar to TC - Provisional Certificate - Temporary certificate

    Designing Templates

  • Go to TemplatesAdd Template
  • Choose type:
  • - Blank certificate (custom design) - Pre-designed templates

    Template Elements

    Include dynamic fields:

    • Student name
    • Father's name
    • Mother's name
    • Date of birth
    • Class/Section
    • Roll number
    • Academic year
    • Issue date
    • School name
  • Principal signature
  • Using Placeholders

    Insert data fields: ` {name} - Student name {father_name} - Father's name {dob} - Date of birth {class} - Current class {issue_date} - Certificate issue date `

    Individual Certificate

  • Go to Generate Certificate
    • Search student
    • Select certificate type
    • System populates data
    • Preview
  • Generate PDF
  • Bulk Generation

    Generate for multiple students:

    • Select class
    • Choose certificate type
    • Generate for all
  • Download as ZIP or print
  • ---

    Transfer Certificate (TC)

    Required Information

    • Student details
    • Date of joining
    • Date of leaving
    • Reason for leaving
    • Subjects studied
    • Attendance
    • Character/conduct
  • Remarks
  • TC Number

    Each TC gets unique number:

    • Configure in settings
  • Format: TC/Year/Number

    • Student name

    Bonafide Certificate

    Purpose

    Verify student is genuinely enrolled:

    • Student details
    • Current class
    • Academic year

    General Settings

  • Go to Settings
  • Configure:
  • - Default signature - School seal - Certificate number format - Watermark

    Signature and Seal

    Upload:

    • Principal signature
    • School seal/logo
  • Additional signatures

    Managing Certificates

    View History

  • Go to Certificate History
  • View:
  • - All certificates issued - Student name - Type - Issue date

    Reprinting

    Reprint existing certificate:

    • Find in history
    • Click reprint
  • Generate new PDF

    Student Portal

    Access Certificates

    Students can:

    • Request certificates (if enabled)
  • View/download issued certificates

    Reports

    Certificate Reports

  • Issued Certificates - All time
  • Type-wise - By certificate type
