This chapter covers how to generate, view, and distribute examination results and reports.

Overview

The Results module generates comprehensive reports including marksheets, grade reports, performance analysis, and statistical reports. Results can be published to students and parents through the portal.

Accessing Results

• Log in as Administrator, Teacher, or relevant role

Navigate to Examinations → Results

View result options

Generating Marksheets

Individual Marksheet

Generate marksheet for one student:

• Search for student

• Select exam

Click Generate Marksheet

View detailed marksheet:

- Student information - All subjects with marks - Total marks - Percentage - Grade - Rank (if applicable)

Print or export to PDF

Bulk Marksheet Generation

Generate marksheets for entire class:

• Select class and exam

Click Generate All

• System generates for all students

Options:

- Print all - Download as ZIP - Email to parents

Result Types

Tabulation Sheet

Complete record of all students:

• Select class and exam

• Generate tabulation

Shows:

- All students - All subjects - Marks in each subject - Total and percentage - Grade - Pass/Fail status

Export to Excel for record-keeping

Subject-wise Report

Performance by subject:

• Select subject and exam

View:

- Highest/lowest marks - Average marks - Grade distribution - Pass percentage

Consolidated Report

Multiple exams combined:

• Select exam group (e.g., Half-Yearly + Final)

• Generate consolidated marksheet

Shows cumulative performance

Grade Distribution

View how students performed:

Go to Grade Report

• Select class and exam

View:

- Count per grade (A, B, C, etc.) - Percentage distribution - Visual chart

Grade-wise List

Students grouped by grade:

• Select grade (e.g., "A+")

• View all students with that grade

Export list

Performance Analytics

Class Analysis

Overall class performance:

• Select class and exam

View:

- Total students - Pass percentage - Average marks - Highest/Lowest marks - Median marks

Subject Analysis

Subject-wise performance:

• Select subject

View:

- Class average - Difficulty indicator - Question-wise analysis (if available)

Student Comparison

Compare student performance:

• Select students to compare

• Choose exams to compare

View:

- Side-by-side marks - Performance trend - Subject-wise comparison chart

Rank Reports

Generate Rankings

Configure ranking rules:

- Rank by total marks - Rank by subject - Handle ties (same rank or sequential)

• Generate class rank list

View:

- Rank - Student name - Total marks - Grade

Export or print

Subject Ranks

Rank within subject:

• Select subject

• View ranks for that subject

Useful for identifying top performers

Publishing Results

Setting Publish Date

Control when students see results:

Go to Settings → Exam Settings

Set Publish Date

• Before this date, results hidden

After publish date, available on portal

Publishing Process

• Review all marks entries

• Ensure approvals complete

Click Publish Results

Select:

- Which classes to publish - Student/parent notification

Confirm

Unpublishing

If mistakes found after publishing:

Click Unpublish

• Enter reason

• Results hidden from students

• Fix issues

Republish

Viewing Own Results

Students log in to see:

• All their exam results

• Detailed marksheets

• Progress over time

Rank (if enabled)

Parent Portal

Parents can view:

• Child's results

• Comparative performance

Download/print marksheets

Provisional Certificate - Based on exam results

Result Revaluation

If students challenge marks:

Applying for Revaluation

• Student/parent submits revaluation request

• Specify subject and question

• Pay revaluation fee (if applicable)

Request logged in system

Processing Revaluation

• Admin reviews request

• Re-check marks

• Update if necessary

Notify student of outcome

Annual Report Card

Generate complete year report:

• Select all exams in year

• Generate consolidated report

Include:

- All subjects - All exams - Attendance - Co-curricular activities

Print for distribution

Migration/Transfer Results

For students leaving:

• Generate marksheet for all exams

• Export to official format
